Nietzsche

Seeing this product out in the world sincerely fills me with a sense of joy and dread in equal measure. For one, it has been living in my mind throughout my years of autodidacy. I have lived all the challenges I am solving for. On the other hand, I know how early, still, I am with this sipping to the zeitgeist of our turbulent times.

All in all, I am glad also to be back here on my little corner on the internet writing again. It has been a while.

Now, to Nietzsche, that ephemeral teacher of old; a mind whose precepts and philosophies – I have devoured for years on long. I once told a confidant, if Nietzsche couldn’t have written his treatises – I could have arrived at most of his conclusions and I would have. (Here is a note below I made in 2021)

As from such inspirations, and to honor my favorite pod (The Nietzsche Podcast) for over half a decade; I saw it fit to call this OS for autodidacts – Nietzsche. A pod I have listened to hundreds upon hundreds of hours to keep tapped into the philosophical realm. Notwithstanding the immense wisdom gained from reading almost all of his books. I have many favorites of his, but that is an entirely different blog post.

So why build Nietzsche?

2021
Autodidacts are the future to answer it plainly. Everyone for a decent amount of time have tried to predict the impending doom of “classroom-learning” as we know it: but they have failed to get it just right. Be it from MOOCs to current ed-techs solving for the wrong abstraction layer and for the wrong sorts of peoples.

Most of the tools out there have failed to get the best success merits to weave their core analogies of how tech will disrupt education. I mean, the tools have never been the issue, nor is it the format. The missing piece has always been the passion. Most tools as they are, fail to entice the commonfolk out there not because of inferior tooling or subject matters; but that the persons going through these courses, syllabuses and curriculums – don’t give a shit! (pardon my Swahili)

Hence the focus for Nietzsche; is to build the tools, spaces, ecosystems and infrastructure to make autodidacts thrive. They bring their passions, and we remove the frictions as much as possible for their joy and love for learning to bloom exponentially.

Today marks the beginning of a joyous quest for me – one that enthralls my innate curiosity of learning and to share the tools I create to propel other similar folks – cut from that same clothe; to enjoy their passions of learning forevermore. Beyond the age of AI!
